Because it’s fun to learn someone’s “why”.

The Words I Live by…
I live my life by a code: Build. Empower. Serve.
I have found my fit in the social impact world. I am obsessed with building businesses that solve problems, and I live life to serve those around me.
Every day is an opportunity to build more blocks on the tower of social entrepreneurship and enterprise.
Bringing comfort to those who need it most has been the most rewarding work of my career. I get wildly excited when I connect someone to serving their greatest good and empower them with the tools to create positive change.

And the Places I Serve…
I am a former international soccer player turned serial entrepreneur and servant leader, and I have discovered my purpose by building businesses that solve problems.
In 2015, I founded Fleece & Thank You (still serve as the Executive Director), an innovative 501(c)3 organization that provides psychosocial support and programs to children in the hospital.
In 2016, I founded the startup company Empathy 313, which makes technology solutions for social impact organizations. In 2018, I founded Crate of Good, a social impact subscription box, and in 2019 he founded Flockets.com, an apparel site that funds microloans for families with a child battling cancer.
Something interesting about me is that I have lived homeless for a week in Sydney, Australia as a member of the startup team for Orange Sky Laundry, the world’s first mobile laundry service for the homeless.
And the Things I’ve Built…
Fleece & Thank You
Fleece & Thank You, a Michigan-based non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing connection, comfort, and hope through its programs, services and materials to children facing illness and their families supporting them.
Our goal is to provide every child facing hospital treatments with a colorful, comfortable fleece blanket and a video message of support from its maker.
KindKatch
KindKatch is a mobile app that empowers nonprofits to “katch” content and share their stories at scale.
Birthed from the concept behind connecting donors directly to the impact their support makes possible, we created this technology to help solve the problem of donor retention in the nonprofit world.
Crate of Good
Crate of Good is a social impact experience box for someone who believes their purchases can make a difference.
Crate of Good introduce our subscribers to new, social-impact products and mission-driven companies quarterly, and then give them the power to choose a donation option. We want to put giving and doing good at the top of mind for more people so that it shows up in the products they purchase and the conversations they share
